Rainbow over the seas

This evening, just before coming down to dinner, I saw a rainbow coming out of the sea and going back into the sea on the other side of the ship. It was beautiful but I did not have my camera with me.

Nothing much happened today. I played my first trivia game. My team got 14, the winning team got 16. We felt good about being so close. I did my water exercises. I put forth the theory that the captain was purposely rocking us from side to side. No one agreed with me. They pointed out the white caps. I thought they seemed to be very small white caps for the amount of rocking we were experiencing. It is a byproduct of us being on such a small ship.

Despite my best efforts with SPF 50 and my rash guard shirt I have developed a fairly deep tan. My nose and cheeks seem to be perpetually red. I am wearing a broad brimmed hat in the pool. The sun is so strong that the reflected rays seem to be enough.

I finished my first book club book and will move on to another one. The padded chairs on deck 5 are my preferred reading spot as they are in the shade.
