Angkor Wat first day in flames
It appears that we may be waiting at the airport the whole first day in Vietnam. The port where where we dock is fairly far from the airport which the ground operator feels will cause us to miss the 12:25 flight we booked so we were rebooked on a 15:35 flight. I think this new flight will cause us to miss, for the most part, the first day of sightseeing. I have a question in as to whether we can attempt the 12:25 flight and stand by for it. Stay tuned...

We were initially told that the RP would dock in VungTau then after pointing out that their shore excursion timing wasnt possible from VungTau, they assured me that we would dock in Nharong Pier or Lotus Pier, both in HCMC. I'm still planning on making the 12.25pm flight.... we live in hope:)
Ian, I hope you do make it. I was very disappointed to have to give up our first day in Angkor Wat. I'm going to send my TA an e-mail to check again the pier name as we get closer just in case someone told you the right info. However our AAA TA checked just yesterday and was told VungTau which caused the mad scramble to reorg. the itinerary.
