Fred, I will say Hi to Dale and Ellen. I see them almost every day.
Chet, the food has been really good. The gluten free diet can be a challenge for me and the ship. Sometimes things turn out a bit bland but they are very accommodating. I was especially impressed with their gluten free birthday cake.
Peter, thanks for the tip on the Coral Sea. I will go look it up on our ship's map. I'm looking forward to Brisbane. I think I will do something in town to save my back from a long drive. I really appreciate your answering my question on the cruise critic board. Have fun on your upcoming cruise!
dhockney, your right 107 days is a long time to be on a ship of this size. Your world shrinks to fit the available options. One advantage is that it is fairly easy to get off and back on because there aren't that many people queued up. Were sailing about 100 people less than full although there are alot of solos with their own room so my understanding is that all the rooms are full. However, the lower number of passengers means that the facilities are uncrowded which has been really nice. We've been on 23 days and so far I have no desire to get off other than at the ports. :-)
Carrie, glad your enjoying it. I think a number of followers have family on board.

Hello, I've been reading your travels with much interest as I will be doing a similar world tour in July on the Dawn Princess. I'm from Brisbane and would recommend if you want an easy day that you catch the local cataraman ferry at Brett's Wharf which is just beside where you dock in Brisbane (10 minute walk) a $7AUD all day ferry pass will get you into the centre of Brisbane (30 minutes) lovely scenic journey. Get off @ South Bank parklands - delightful parklands in the middle of the city that have a man made beach (bring your swimmers) - there's plenty to see and do @ South Bank and you're only a 15 minute walk across the Bridge into the city. I work @ South Bank and can recommend the city ferry cats. When you dock in Brisbane there is not much there except high quality restaurants (that's the last thing you need coming off a Princess Ship!) - there is a wine shop with quality wines at reasonable prices. If you drink wine and want to stock up in your cabin Brisbane is the time to do it.
All the best with your travels - keep on blogging - and I'll stay tuned to your blogsite! Sheree
I too am following your blog. Thank you so much. I was interested in reading about the number of passengers. I follow a couple of other World Cruise blogs(other cruise lines) and it seems that some people only take segments of the cruise so the population is changing throughout the voyage. Is that happening on your cruise too? Or is everyone on for the duration. Thanks again and I love your pictures.

Hi! My sister, Carrie, gave me your website and I was thrilled to read about your experiences! We have 2 childcare family businesses and our school-age program is following the trip on a daily basis. We're doing trivia and games/challenges that the kids really enjoy. Eddie the Elephant (a "cruise towel animal") even stopped in to give the kids those "complimentary chocolates." The kids have especially taken an interest in Easter Island and keep bringing in books from the library on it. I'm looking forward to hearing about the rest of your trip-the pictures are gorgeous! Hopefully you will run into our parents!
Lauren
