Dubai in development

Dubai is very much a city under development. According to our guide the construction and development has been going on for about 30 years. The progress they have made in that time is amazing. However the effect is very much that of a work in progress. Pic. 1 is of a peacock at the royal palace. Pics of the actual palace were not allowed. We also saw the palace being built for the designated successor. From afar it was huge!

Pic. 2 is of a high end hotel where we stopped to take pictures of the worlds tallest building under construction (pic. 3).
