To save time we crossed the Nile in a water taxi (pic. 1). The river was pretty dirty but it was fun because we got to see the buildings along the riverbank. Our next stop was the Luxor museum (pic. 2). This was a fabulous stop (air conditioned) and we got to see the good quality artifacts that are not kept outdoors. Unfortunately no pictures were allowed.
