There was a current excavation going on for what our port lecturer said was an exciting new discovery that had not been announced. Pic. 1 is of the hillside near the excavation (you can see the shade tarp in the lower right corner). Pic. 2 is of the excavation pit and pic. 3 is of some potter that looks to be part of what is being excavated. I'm not 100% sure this is what the port lecturer was referring to but it seemed to match what he told us about the location in the valley.
