The Elephanta Island caves

There were 5 caves to view. Pic. 1 is of the entrance to the main cave. Pic. 2 is of the interior, looking across to the other side. There were large pillars along with magnificent carved panels and some large statues guarding temple areas.

Pic. 3 and 4 are two of the panel carvings. Pic. 5 shows the three faces of Shiva and is the focal point of the temple.
