After lunch we headed to Angkor Wat. The temples and temple complexes were usually surrounded by a large man-made moat. These moats apparently where crocodile infested in ancient times but we didn't spot any. Pic. 1 is of the entrance to the Angkor Wat complex. Pic. 2 shows another of the wonderful multi headed snakes just on the other side of the moat causeway. Pic. 3 shows a large 8 armed statue in the entryway building. Pic. 4 shows the entryway building looking out from the building, back toward the moat.
