I don't have any pics of the vendors that accost you as you leave the cable car on the way down from the wall. They were really aggressive, pushing you so that you could not go by their booth. I had one woman push me so hard back into her booth that it made my back hurt. I back tracked and did a little body blocking to assist another woman to get by her who had almost been pushed down earlier. Another woman grabbed on to my sleeve and wouldn't let go. I had to twist my arm around to twist her arm to get her to release her grip. Yet another woman came up and hit my chest after I would not buy a t-shirt from her. At one point she had thrown the shirt over my shoulder to get me to take it so I turned to walk off and she came screaming after me to grab her shirt back. I did buy a Great Wall t-shirt for about $3 but then made tracks fast to get out of there, not wanting to attempt to shop for anything else. The guide went ahead, saying that the vendors would
become very abusive to her to try and get her to help them sell. Throughout the trip she didn't really assist us in our shopping, always fading to the background. Now I know why. She was afraid.
