Kiyomizudera Temple - highlight of the day

Our next stop was Kiyomizudera Temple. This was the highlight of my day! From where the taxi dropped us off we walked up a narrow street lined with wonderful shops (pic. 1). We only stopped to explore a few but it would have been great to spend more time seeing them.

This Temple was really more of a complex. Many temples to see (pic. 2 & 3), many to view from the outside and many to enter for viewing. All beautiful.
