Summer Palace - high ranking official quarters

As we strolled along there were some buildings to our left with unusual shaped windows in the wall (pic. 1). We went into the courtyard (pic. 2). These were the quarters of high ranking officials who lived at the summer palace and took care of it.

Pic. 3 is of a gate across from the main building complex on the hill. We didn't go into these buildings. I'm interested to see an aerial map view to figure out what was what. It was somewhat confusing as not all the buildings were original. Some were constructed to contain the gift shops and other support services for the tourist trade.
