We only explored a small fraction of what was available with a confusing array of alleys to follow (pic. 1). There was one area with photos of the last emperor growing up. There was also a large number of what were describes as concubine rooms. These were fully decorated. The small details such as these on the roof top were interesting (pic. 2). There were also statues to admire in the courtyards (pic. 3). A common theme throughout China was the courtyard surrounded on all sides by buildings.
