Next, because we had additional time, we stopped at the Olympic stadium. There was basically no tour by the guide here. I got some great photos. The hotel in pic. 1 represents a dragon with the tall building being the head and the body being the shorter buildings. The Birds Nest (pic. 2) and water cube (pic. 3) were as impressive as I thought they would be. In addition there were wonderful sculptures in the area around the buildings (pic. 4 & 5). Pic. 6 is of a tower overlooking the venues.
