79 minutes to post

I just spent 79 min. posting my China experience. I mostly stayed in the room today due to my cold. This gave me the opportunity to go through my 400 photos and write the posts.

Apparently we added a large number of people to the cruise in Hong Kong. There was a cruise critic get together and we added a fairly good number to our little group. The Vietnam port lecturer did an outstanding job. I tried to catch the US lecturer on Vietnam on TV but fell asleep.

Thankfully tomorrow is another sea day as I need to get well before getting off in Vietnam for my Angkor Wat overland to Cambodia.

Hope your cold is getting better. Really great photos of China.
Did you change crew in Hong Kong, how many new passengers have joined the ship?
Enjoy Vietnam!!

Hi Michelle,
Thank you for the wonderful report on your adventures in China.
You have certainly seen some of the wonders of this world.
Many of of us wonder if it is worth paying the extra for the overland trips on these exotic cruises, but your accounts have shown that it is certainly worth it.
Are you doing any more overlands?
We did a Pacific Princess cruise from Bangkok to Capetown and tossed up whether or not to do the overland in India, as it turned out it was the best tour we have ever done, and worth every cent. You will have memories that will last forever.
I loved your description of the vendors at the Great Wall.

I'm sure some crew changed over in Hong Kong. They tend to rotate out regularly.

I'm not sure how many more got on than got off.

Kiwi Kruzer, I'm probably not the right person to comment on the ship's overlands. All of mine are independent. I also have Angkor Wat and Egypt coming up. Glad you are enjoying the journey.

Hi This is Reva - your older but young at heart friend from the cruise. We left the ship in Hong Kong but are keeping up with your travels and love the pictures and reminders of what we have seen. Hope you are still having fun and look forward to hearing about Vietnam, etc. Reva
